Do you have experience working with students on IEP’s?

Yes! Both as a classroom teacher and tutor I have enjoyed teaching students with disabilities. Tell me about your child’s unique strengths and weaknesses and I will create lessons that are just right for their abilities.

What are your COVID-19 Precautions?

I offer both in-person masked tutoring or online tutoring via video call. I am fully vaccinated and boosted.

Do you offer virtual tutoring?

Yes! I have experience teaching via Zoom and offer virtual or in-person tutoring.

Do you work with homeschooled students?

Yes! Whether your child is being homeschooled alone or with a learning pod, I offer individualized lessons to supplement your homeschool curriculum. Maybe you want a teacher to come in a few times per week to give yourself a break. I can accommodate a wide range of homeschool situations! Contact me with your specific request.

What times can tutoring sessions be scheduled?

Time slots are available Monday-Thursday, 8:00AM-8:00PM.

Are you able to work with more than one student in a session?

Yes! Each additional student will be charged the group discount hourly rate. From my time in the classroom I know how valuable working with a small group of peers can be. I can design sessions for siblings, peers, or learning pods.

What payments do you accept?

I accept cash, personal check and Venmo. Payment is due at each tutoring session. For rates, click here.

Do you have references available?

Yes! References are available upon request.

What subjects do you tutor?

I am certified to teach elementary math, reading, writing, science, and social studies. I also have experience tutoring middle school math and english. Have a specific request? Just ask!

Do you offer “homework help?”

Yes! I can work with your child on their homework assignments from school. I am very familiar with MA learning standards and have lots of experience helping students to reach them. If you only want homework help and no individualized lessons, I offer a discount on this hourly rate.

My child is above grade-level. Do you offer enrichment?

Yes! I am happy to meet with you and discuss the areas your child needs extensions in. I will design personalized lessons to keep your child engaged and excited about learning.

What is your cancellation policy?

If your child is sick and you need to unexpectedly cancel a session, I can offer a rescheduled session.

I charge the full cost for no-show sessions or sessions cancelled within 4 hours of the scheduled start time. If you know in advance that you will need to cancel or reschedule, I am happy to accommodate.

Sessions are considered no-shows if nobody is present 10 minutes after the scheduled session start time.
